Greetings from Sparkletown
Since its inception, the objective of Brisbane based Sparkletown car wash operation has been to transform a humdrum weekend chore into a buzzing social activity through investment in design, brand and user experience.
ACG Creative Co. was among a team of creative companies briefed to design and deliver a commercial carwash concept that boasted as much form as it did function.
The first two locations for expanding empire were North Lakes and Northshore in Townsville.
Working closely with architects Twohill & James, ACG developed a family of spirited, nostalgic brands that dovetailed into striking, mid-century landmarks. This creative synergy has allowed the brand aesthetic to reveal itself across various touchpoints from the custom vending machine to the enormous “Welcome to Sparkletown” wall mural.
From the development of the “Sparkletown” master brand and over arching strategy for each site-specific brand ACG also delivered wall graphics, a suite of icons, instructional and directional signage and way-finding.
ACG has continued its relationship with Sparkletown by providing ongoing communications services through print, web and digital campaigns.
With three new operations (The Plains in Redbank Plains, Springfield City and Great Western in Keperra) planned for 2022, ACG is excited to expand the comprehensive brand into the future.
